MALO Health & Wellness Welcomes Dr. Michael Schwarz

MALO Health & Wellness is pleased to welcome to our staff of experts Dr. Michael Schwarz.

Dr. Schwarz is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and has been practicing in Passaic, Essex and Bergen Counties of NJ since 1995.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Schwarz graduated from Seton Hall University with a B.S. in Biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors. He attended UMDNJ-NJ Medical School located in Newark, N.J. and completed his Internal Medicine and Cardiology Fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY where he specialized in Congestive Heart Failure and was Chief Cardiac Fellow.
Dr. Schwarz’ special areas of interest and expertise are in Coronary Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab, as well as weight loss and weight management programs. He also practices internal medicine at Broad Street Medical in Clifton and is certified in age management medicine and longevity care, affiliated with Cenegenics.

Among the types of in-office evaluations, Dr. Schwarz performs stress testing, echocardiography, vascular and carotid artery testing, lab work, EKG, heart failure assessment and exercise testing, pulmonary hypertension assessment and exercise testing, pacemaker evaluation and follow up, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, event and holter monitoring (devices that record the heart’s electrical activity), pulmonary function testing, and computer based memory testing.

Rounding out his services, Dr. Schwarz is specialized in and is a certified injector of in-office and out-of-office cosmetic procedures such as (BOTOX®, DYSPORT® and DERMAL FILLERS). He is also a distributor of LATISSE® to enhance beauty via the growth of eyelashes. Given his philosophy of a holistic eastern and western approach to health care, he strongly believes in the benefits of Nutraceutical therapy with vitamins and supplements.
