About 100 medical professionals enjoyed the hospitality of MALO Health & Wellness in Rutherford, NJ, at an event on Wednesday evening, February 27, 2013. The presentation, entitled “Benefits of Physician Consolidation and Resulting Issues” was designed to provide a general overview of the process of consolidation, as well as a snapshot of NJCREAH’s approach.
A group of various professionals comprised a panel of experts. They discussed everything from financial aspects, to practice management and marketing. They included:

- Joel Ives – The Ives Architecture Studio (Architecture)
- Thomas Hofstetter – Points Group (Marketing)

The New Jersey Commercial Real Estate Alliance–Healthcare (“NJCREAH”) is comprised of a number of successful firms and individuals in a variety of disciplines that is specifically dedicated to resolving unique corporate, regulatory and real estate issues applicable to the healthcare community. NJCREAH utilizes a collaborative approach to provide counsel and advice for members of the healthcare community. This collaborative approach is extremely beneficial when counseling physicians in connection with complicated issues, such as physician consolidation.
MALO is a member of NJCREAH. NJCREAH is dedicated to providing any counsel or assistance necessary to guide its members through the process of consolidation, and educating the medical community further regarding related issues. NJCREAH intends to host a second presentation in May, 2013, entitled “Creating an Integrated Clinical Environment,” which will focus on the clinical integration process following consolidation.
